Character Designs: Lucid allows members to go crazy with character designs and encourages creativity and originality. Pretty much everything is allowed, including humanoids, animals, fantasy species, and ARPG species (as long as they follow the rules of the breed). That being said, that we ask that you only use characters that you have rights to, and that if you use stock images, that you have the rights to the images as well.
Age: All characters will age at the rate that humans do. While we don't monitor aging, characters will not be considered adults until they are at least 18 years of age. If you have a character that reaches maturity at an older age, please put a note on their character creation form (Example: A certain species of elf won't reach maturity until 200 years of age).
Please remember that no character may reach maturity BEFORE 18 years of age, and all sentient species will age at the rate of humans or slower. If a character reaches the age of maturity at a slower rate, and is still not considered an adult, all rules for minors must apply.
Height: Please keep heights semi-reasonable for the character's species.
Immortality: Characters may not be created with immortality without the proper item, however they may gain it in a plethora of ways listed in the immortality guide. If a character has immortality in their backstory, they lose it upon entering Amarna.
Magic: All characters have a propensity towards magic in Amarna, however, all characters will lose any pre-existing magic upon entering the world and must regain or earn it through hard work and dedication. Please see the MAGIC GUIDE for details.
Shapeshifting: We do allow characters to shapeshift on Lucid. The Minor Shapeshifting item will allow charcters to shapeshift into any realistic species, but will still be recognized by others as a sentient being (though it won't necessarily be known who they are). The Minor Shapeshifting item doesn't allow for permanent or custom forms, however, if the character wants to have another permanent shapeshift form, they may buy the Major Shapeshifting item, and create another permanent form that they can switch between at will. No matter what major shapeshift form they are in, they will be recognized as who they are. Each character can have an unlimited number of major shapeshifting forms provided that they buy the major shapeshifting item each time, and have each additional form approved by staff.
