Welcome to Lucid. We're glad you stopped by to check us out. For those of you wondering, Lucid is a (mostly) sandbox text-based RPG designed for people who want to play their characters in a fun and flexible world. The setting is in pre-modern times (think high fantasy/medieval literature), so there aren't any cars, computers, trains, electricity, etc., but there is plenty of magic! While things may seem complicated at first, getting started is simple, and most of the guides can be read later to get a more thorough understanding of the game.

Before Character Creation:

• Read the Lore
• Read the General Rules
• Read about Character Creation
• Read the Magic Guide (Magic Users Only)
• Create and Register Your OOC Account Under the Breath of Life Forum

After you read the basic information and register your OOC account, you may proceed to creating your first character. There is no limit to the number of characters you may have, but please be sure to keep track of all your characters under the character tracker section of the forum.

To Create a Character:

• Create a character tracker. This will be important for your use in keeping track of used items and important threads for levelling up.
• Fill out the Character Creation Form Under the Breath of Life Forum
• Do Not Post In-Character With Pending Characters.

After Character Creation

After your OOC and character account have been approved you may post you character under any board in the forum.

Also, please be sure to answer this poll here with your OOC account in order to maximize the dewdrops you earn at the start of the game.
