Roselynn Stones
A beautiful iridescent jewel of any color and shape. Due to its symbiotic nature, it reflects the health of the wearer by ranging in color from a dull grey when the bearer is unhealthy, to a bright luminescence when they are in good health. A roselynn stone can be worn as a pendant or other jewelry, but it usually fuses itself to the bearer's head or chest. This jewel gives the wearer heightened senses, a faster healing rate, and slows aging almost completely after 4 years of age (does not make the character immortal, but will retain a young appearance even in old age). However, the use of more than one stone can have disastrous effects.
The Perks of Roselynn Stones
- Roselynn stones slow down the aging process completely (after the age of 18), meaning that your character appears ageless.
- Roselynn stones increase the senses of the wearer. Meaning that vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch are increased.
- Roselynn stones increase pain tolerance slightly. Meaning they can endure more pain for longer before it becomes debilitating.
- Roselynn stones increase immunity against disease and rate in which injuries and sicknesses are healed.
Limitations
- Roselynn stones may be applied at birth, however, they do not affect aging until 18 years of age.
- Roselynn stones may be used in conjunction with immortality
- Roselynn stones do not make the character immortal nor does it grant the effects of immortality.
- Only one Roselynn stone per character. Characters who try to abuse this often are met with disastrous effects. Common instances of this are extreme sickness and fatigue. The stone's energy will fight for dominance over the other stone, and will begin to tear the tissues of the character apart. Often resulting in untimely death and great suffering.
Immortality
Immortality makes it so that your character is essentially immortal. They cannot die except under the very extreme circumstances, and may regrow limbs, regenerate, have scars healed, etc, with very few limitations.
The Perks of Immortality
- Characters cannot die except under the extreme circumstances listed below.
- Character will not age (unless desired by the member) past the point when they gained their immortality.
- If injured, characters have the ability to heal at a heightened rate back to their previous state.
Limitations
- Characters cannot receive immortality before the age of 16.
- Characters cannot regrow limbs or have scars healed that were gained previous to gaining immortality.
- While characters cannot die from malnutrition, extremes in temperature, etc, their bodies will still feel the effects of it. For example, a character that has not eaten in weeks will be extremely emaciated, even if they are able to function normally. A character that walks through the fire will still experience burns and the pain from the heat; and a character that receives a blow from the sword will still feel the pain and bleed like any other... they just won't die.
- Characters will not heal or regenerate immediately afterwards. While their healing rate is increased, a character that loses a limb will take at least a couple weeks to regrow it. Minor injuries heal faster than major injuries.
- If participating in a "death match" immortal characters will be considered dead when their body is no longer able to fight (ie, they pass out from blood loss, or are left for dead). Remember even if the character survives they will feel the effects of the injuries and can become unconscious for a period of time before they "come back to life."
Ways of Death
- Beheading: This means that the entire head is removed from the body.
- Complete incineration: This means that the entire body is melted at an extremely high temperature before they can escape.
- Any other limitations that the member chooses to place on their character is up to them.
